Shower Heads

Installation Instructions

1. Remove old shower head.

2. Wrap teflon tape around exposed threads on shower arm Pull tape sharply to force tape into threads. thread new shower head onto shower arm.

3. Protect shower head from wrench marks with a cloth or masking tape.
4. A few showers have a ball joint as an integral part of the shower
arm (A). Remove by turning it counter clockwise. Replace with standard 1/2" shower arm with threads on both ends.

Handheld Shower Heads

Handheld Shower heads can be added in additions to the shower head with a diverter valve.

Tub Spouts

1. Remove your old spout by turning counter clockwise. Measure the length of the nipple
extending from the wall, making sure its length matches the needed depth of the
new spout. If necessary replace the nipple for proper length. Replace new spout. CAUTION: Do not use sealants on spouts with plastic threads.

FOR DIVERTER SPOUTS
Use 08-1051 for short 1/2"-1"
protrusion of nipple from wall or
3/4" IPS nipple. For nipple protrusion of 3 1/2"- 4 1/2" use 08-1037
FOR COPPER PIPE STYLE
Loosen set screw. Remove old
spout. Slide new spout over
copper tube. Tighten set screw.

          TYPE A                    
   NOSE CONNECT       

1/2"- 14 NPT THREAD
FITS STANDARD 1/2" IPS   
THREAD.

           TYPE B

    WALL CONNECT

3/4"- 14 NPT THREAD
INCLUDES 3/4" to 1/2"
REDUCER BUSHING TO
FIT STANDARD 3/4" IPS
and 1/2" IPS PIPE.

          TYPE C
    SLIP CONNECT

SLIP FIT
SLIDE CONNECTS TO
1/2" COPPER WATER TUBE
(CWT) 5/8" OUTSIDE
DIAMETER.
